This TRANS ACS is a transcoder and format converter for a wide variety of codecs, formats and protocols and offers outstanding flexibility. The entire range of inputs are supported (provided the appropriate hardware is used). Multiple monitoring and automation features, based on Ferncast's extensive expertise, ensure maximum reliability.

The ACS SLIM supports up to 20 simultaneous connections and comes in the classic form factor 19", 1 U - perfect for installation in the rack. It supports input/output via AES67 or Ravenna as standard. Additional audio interfaces can be installed as a PCI Express card or via USB can be connected. Other extensions via USB are also possible, for example by connecting additional memory. 
 
SLIM
The SLIM is the ultimate value for money audio codec server choice. It comes in the classic 19″ 1U form factor and supports up to 50 mono, stereo or multi-channel programs. It can be equipped with an expansion card for I/O from DAB, AES or MADI or transport via ASI. Other I/O are supported via third-party USB audio interfaces.
 
TRANS
Transcoding audio, especially in large quantities, usually requires a massive amount of hardware. Ferncast's audio codec servers are easily scalable for the desired application with just a single device. This also simplifies and centralizes control and monitoring.

Fast WLAN access to the user interface via QR code scan
One of the most advanced features of Audio Codec Servers is the ability to access the UI with mobile devices directly via WiFi for control and monitoring. This is in addition to regular network access. WLAN access can be done even faster with a QR code scan. Say "Bye!" to old-fashioned front panel control and control the audio codec just like you would on a computer and with the same range of functions. You can use exactly the same GUI that you are used to from the browser with your mobile devices.
